LMT Medical Systems GmbH from Lübeck is a German manufacturer that has revolutionised paediatric radiology. The company developed the breakthrough MRI diagnostic incubator system — nomag®IC Advanced — enabling safe transport and examination of neonates and premature infants in magnetic resonance.

The system allows transport of premature infants directly from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to the MRI suite, maintaining constant temperature, humidity and life support during the examination. Before this solution was developed, neonates requiring intensive medical care could not be safely examined with magnetic resonance.
